Daily Drivers (Tech Reviews) 📲

In this post I will explain what daily tech I use and why I'm using it! There's also a few cheeky Amazon Affiliate Links below for each review so please feel free to use my codes when looking to purchase any of these gadgets!

I am fully part of the Apple Eco-System 👨🏻‍💻 and don't think I will ever change, it just works! Apple do things differently! All Apple devices are designed really well feel and look premium. I must admit though I never use any of my Apple devices without a case and it will always have a screen protector. I have always taken care of all my Apple devices as they are expensive to fix or replace. I also think covering them with a good solid case can get you more resale value when its time to part with the device or trading it in with Apple. I will add some links below for my current iPhone and iPad Pro cases below if you want to check them out for yourself. I usually go for a Spigen case with an ESR screen protector both are great value, it also comes with a screen template so you can apply it easily, without any of those annoying bubbles too!

Apple iPhone 12 128GB (Black) 📱

I have had an iPhone going all the way back to the iPhone 3G this was the first smart-phone I had owned. It was even on pay-as-you-go too! Data to a mobile devices wasn't a massive thing back then. Over the last few years I have been part of the Apple upgrade program. This was a great way to be able to stay up to date with the latest iPhone. My iPhone 12 does everything I want it's quick, snappy and responsive. I did have an iPhone 11 previously but I really wanted to go back to the squared sided iPhone and the 12 went back to this overall design. It's far better to hold in this format. I take a lot of pictures and I really like the camera too. It's good enough for me, I didn't need the iPhone Pro. Overall I think this iPhone will definitely last me a good few years and save me making a change to a new model. I feel it has the right balance. 5G capable, great design (back to the squared edges which I love), wireless charging but still has the lightning port also, great camera, good battery life and the latest Apple screen technology which is really impressive. Other iPhone models I'd recommend are: iPhone 12 mini, iPhone SE (Latest Gen) both Amy and my mum have these models and they really are great iPhones! The iPhone 12 mini is ideally for someone upgrading from an iPhone 7/8 and want the new design but still want a smaller daily device. The iPhone SE is the new entry level iPhone keeping the home button with Touch ID, It has a good really good processor and latest runs the latest version of iOS.

Apple Watch Nike Edition (Series 3) ⌚️

I have had 2 Apple watches, Both have been birthday presents. I think the Apple watch is a great piece of tech, I wear mine everyday. I like that you can stay notified with anything from your iPhone. Keeping you up to date during your working day, It can be really useful for emails, messages, news and even tracking your health and wellbeing! I had the very 1st generation Apple watch. This was a good start in how the new technology works as smart device that you wear on your wrist. My Nike Edition Apple watch is waterproof too, this is great when you want to cool off by jumping into the pool! Overall I think the Apple Watch is really a useful tech tool to have. I use Apple Pay nearly everyday when purchasing lunch or a quick coffee on the go! One of the best things about the watch is that it is so comfy you hardly know your wearing it! I used to wear a normal style watch, overtime it would make marks on my wrist. The Apple watch has never done this, the Nike strap is also really breathable too. So if you go for a run or go to the gym its not likely to mark your wrist.

Apple iPad Pro 11" 2021 🍎

This is my latest Apple gadget! Previously I had an iPad Air 2 which was good over the years and never seemed to feel too sluggish for general browsing or reading / checking emails. I got a really good deal on one in gold a few years back so this was my upgrade from my iPad Mini. I have now decided to upgrade to the latest iPad Pro 11" 2021 model. This has the new Apple M1 chip which is crazy for such a small compact tablet. It's got Face ID and I also bought the latest generation Apple Pencil, which I thought was a must have considering I have invested in the iPad Pro. I have been taking notes daily and using the iPad Pro mainly for work tasks and projects. I use Log Me In remote software everyday, now having the ability to sync my Logitech pebble mouse with Bluetooth to my iPad means I can help my users with remote support when they need it. I can do all this from the iPad Pro which is a real time saver for quick support sessions. So far the iPad Pro hasn't struggled with anything I have thrown at it. I can see why Apple market and price this device in the laptop sector because it can easily become a laptop killer with the right accessories. I also do quite a lot of Microsoft Teams calls / meetings through the iPad Pro connected with my new Apple Air Pods it really does work great. I will write a separate review on my new Apple Air Pods soon, Again another amazing Apple product that works seamlessly with all my Apple devices! I feel the iPad has made my workflow a lot productive with my IT work too! The Apple pencil really is a good addition for making quick notes something which I do a lot! I might also buy a Paperlike screen protector, I've added a link below if anyone wants to check it out on Amazon. I don't mind writing on the glass screen but can see it being a lot better on the Paperlike screen protector especially for detailed drawings or more detailed work. I bought the ESR protector just to get me started and make sure my iPad stays protected for now. I will add some links below to the accessories I have bought with my iPad Pro 11" from Amazon. Please check them out!
